Growing orbits

Some nights, stay up till dawn.
As the moon sometimes does for the sun.
Be a full bucket pulled up the dark way
of a well, then lifted out into light.

Something opens our wings. Something
makes boredom and hurt disappear.
Someone fills the cup in front of us.
We taste only sacredness.

The contemplation of Eternity maketh the Soul immortal.

I live my life in growing orbits
Which move out over the things of the world.
Perhaps I can never achieve the last,
but that will be my attempt.

I am circling around God, the ancient tower,
and I have been circling for a thousand years,
and I still don’t know if I am a falcon, or a storm,
or a great song.

We are that with which we occupy our minds, it is written on our faces and in our demeanor. We can not escape it and we cannot fool a trained eye. And what is in our thoughts eventually become what and who we are. We live what we think. If your thoughts are positive, creative thoughts of growth so will you adjust to it. Yet if your thoughts are negative, destructive, narrow thoughts it will fashion you into the inhibited being of your minds work. Take care of what occupies your world of thought, it is not as hidden as you may imagine, in fact someone might be reading it right now.
